Sicknesses/Funerals

  1. 1. Deacon Brighton Banda lost his grandfather here in Lusaka on the 26th March 2013. Burial was on Thursday 28th March 2013 in Chipata.
  2. 2. Br Crispin Mbimbi lost his younger brother on 23rd March 2013 here in Lusaka and burial was on Tuesday 26th March 2013 at Leopards Hill cemetery.
  3. 3. Sr. Kaluba Annie lost a brother in Kalikiliki 22rd March 2013 here in Lusaka and burial was on 25th March 2013

 

Local church announcements

 

  1. 1. Last Week we had baptism at Kalingalinga SDA Church. The Church has two new born again brethren. These are Sr. Mwenzi Yowela and Br. Kajila Jeremiah Kamavu.
  2. 2.Today is the 13th Sabbath and we have the Holy Communion. Members are invited to take part the Holy Communion.
  3. 3.Deacon Noel Mudenda will be marrying on the 7th April 2013 next week.
  4. 4.Health Department is recruiting Health Committee members. Those who would like to be part of the Committee should see Sr. Marah Mubita.
  5. 5.We would like to inform the church that the tenant has moved out of the main house at the plot to pave way for commencement of building of the temporal structure. Br. Ignitius Kaande has been requested to be a caretaker at the plot.
  6. 6.Meanwhile we are all urged to contribute generously to church building financially and materially as the church is embarking on serious building project.
  7. 7.Next week will be day of Prayer and fasting. Education will take the day with a Bible study on Science and Religion.

District Announcements

  1. 1.All Stewardship leaders, treasurers and admin elders to meet on Sunday 31st March 2013 at M’tendere main at 09:00hrs.
  2. 2.There will be Music audition on 31st March 2013 at Kalingalinga SDA Church at14:00hrs. To participate are all approved singing groups and they should observe time.
  3. 3. The Christian education day which was supposed to take place on March 30, 2013 has been postponed to a later date to be communicated.
  4. 4.Heath Dept. Will Visit M’tendere Main and Children’s Ministry will visit Palabana on 30th March 2013.
  5. 5. There will be CPC and District council on Monday 1st April 2013 at M’tendere main and will start at 08:30hrs and 14Hrs respectively. Elders ensure that your members attend the district council.
  6. 6. There will be an Adventurers three Days Camp from April 5, to 7th 2013. Parents are being called upon to support this activity by contributing Kr 50=00 towards transport and food.
  7. 7. There will be Conference drill/skill camp from 14th – 21 April 2013, all those who will camp should contribute Kr 80=00 per person. 
  8. 8.All admin elders to be sending board and business meeting minutes to elder Bernard Tembo, starting with January board and business meetings.
  9. 9.There will be prayer and fasting on 6th April 2013
  10. 10.There will be Prayer Conference/PLA seminar/Adventurers camp ends/SSPC workshop Palabana, all on 7th April 2013.
  11. 11.There will be a farewell ceremony for Pastor Shangala on 14th  April 2013 at M’tendere Main at 09:00hrs. All members wishing to attend and present their presents to do so.
  12. 12.There will be an inter-departmental seminar by Zambia Union Conference at Libala SDA starting on Friday the 5 - 7th April 2013. Timings are as follows:
  • Friday 5th starting time will be 16:30 – 18:30.
  • Sabbath 6th  14:00-18:30hrs.
  • Sunday 7th  0800 – 17:30hrs. Light lunch will be provided but you do well to carry some extra food.
