1.      1. Sr. Thandi Sibindi (Sr. to Wise Sibindi) of Kalingalinga SDA Church passed away on 24th April. The sister was a member of the King's Royal Cords Choir. There will be body viewing today at Kalingalinga church today at 16:00hrs. Burial will be on Sunday morning in Mungule Ten Miles where the funeral is being held. May the Lord comfort the bereaved family.

 

Other local church announcements

1.       2.Today is building promotion. We are all invited to support the programme and make our contributions. 

2.       3. Next week will be Communications Day. We will have an adhoc business meeting immediately after main service next Sabbath. 

3.        4. Study Guides for the Third and Fourth quarter are available at KR20.00 cash. Those interested to see Elder Bbilika.

4.       5.  The Church would like to congratulate the Joy Bells for being selected for music camp meeting due in June in Mundengwa after music auditions.

5.       6. Camp Committee members to remain after main service. Deacons/Deaconnesses also to remain after main service.

      

           District announcements

    1. The farewell program for Pastor Faxon Shangala which was earlier on postponed to a later date shall now take place on Wednesday 1st of May 2013 at M’tendere Main Church starting at 10:00hrs. All churches and individual members should be present with their gifts. The District Music committee should arrange singing groups to provide music during this occasion.

2.     2. Please, take note that ZBUC will conduct the "ELDERS' CERTIFICATION SEMINAR" from 1st - 6th May at Libala Church. Daily schedule: 17:00-19:30 hrs during weekdays, 13:30-17:30 hrs on Sabbath and 08:00-16:30 hrs on Sunday. ALL church elders are required to attend. Due to logistics and certification implications, each elder should pay KR5 registration fee thru their district pastor. Promote this aspect of professionalism in the Ministerial Association.

3.       3. The District Secretariat is in possession of a zain cell phone which was left during the last District Council. May the owner of the phone come forward and claim his or her item.

4.      4.All teachers by professional are requested to meet at Libala SDA Church on 26th May 2013. Should prepare for the day and their packed lunch

5.      5.There will be Adventurers’ music fellowship on 28th April 2013 at M’tendere main church.

6.      6.There will be District Music fellowship on Sunday 28th April 2013 at Chitukuko Church starting from 08:00hrs. Please observe time.
