Sabbath 25th May 2013 Announcements
1. 1.Today is the World Day of Prayer for children at Risk.
2. 2.There will be a conference camp for Ambassadors and Senior Youths in Sala East Mission District (Nampundwe) during the 4 days holiday break 28 June – July 2, 2013. Registration fee is ZKR 30 per person and it should be paid directly to the Conference Youth Treasurer Br Muluwe of Woodlands Mission District. His cell No is 0977230832 or 0964720842. Theme for the camp is “Disciples for service” and topics include; salvation and service, youth and sexuality, Discipleship, etc. Districts are encouraged to travel together as a unit. Deadline for the registration fee is 14th June 2013.
3. 3.The 2013 Camp Meeting schedule shall be as follows; Avondale and Lusaka East Mission Districts shall camp in the second group from 18 – 24th August at Muluse. Theme: We are His disciples. Text John 8: 31 – 32. Theme Song: I will follow thee. SDA Hymnal # 623; Local # 11. Main Speaker: Pastor Clement Imolo, 2nd Speaker Pastor David Kayaya, 3rd Speaker: Evangelist Teddy Milambo. Please prepare to attend.
4. 4.Members are still being reminded to attend the Spirit of Prophecy Conference to be held at Mulungushi International Conference Centre starting from 3rd to 7th June, 2013. Registration for Lusaka residents is as follows; (i) ZKR 600.00 (Includes, breakfast, lunch, supper and material) (ii) ZKR 300.00 (with own packed lunch and material will be provided). *Choose between the two.
5. 5.The Lusaka East Mission District Youth will be having a joint recreation with Kabulonga Mission District at Kabulonga Boys Secondary School grounds on Sunday 26th May 2013. All Ambassadors and A.Y leaders to attend as there shall be a brief planning committee meeting and Master Guide council will be held from there.
6. 6.The Chitukuko Church crusade which was being conducted at Kitana Private School is ending today 25th May 2013 with baptism at Kalingalinga Church at 13:30 while the Mtendere Main being conducted at Mahatma Ghandi will end next Sabbath with baptism at Mtendere Main Church. Members are urged to continue giving support by inviting friends and attending the crusade.
7. 7.There will be a seminar for all professional teachers at Libala SDA Church on Sunday 26th May 2013 starting at 09:00hrs. All participants should carry packed lunch.
8. 8. Drug awareness month ends on 30th May 2013. Please let us use the remaining days to sensitize our members on the dangers, effects and use of drugs.
9. 9. All Church AMO Leaders to meet briefly at M’tendere main this Sabbath Afternoon 25th May 2013at 15Hrs without fail.
10. 10. All Churches to submit copies of their Insurance Cover with the Pastors Office. (Note that this is a requirement for any Group/ Department travelling out).
11. 11. District Health Dept and local health Leaders to meet at M’tendere main today (May 25th) at 14Hrs.
12. 12. Tomorrow we shall have works at the plot. Members are requested to come with tools such as hammers, radars, shovels and wheel barrows. All men are further requested to remain behind after main service.
13. 13. All announcements, including promotions from departments for subsequent Sabbath should be received by Thursday 17:00hrs. Announcements should be channeled thru Elder Mubita, Secretary to the Elders Board.
