Sabbath 15th June 2013 announcements
1. Today is Sabbath School Guest Day.
2. All those who got questionarres for Personnel ministries and Sabbath school evaluation should hand over filled forms back to Deacon Mudenda or Br. Banda.
3. Tomorrow we’ll have board and business meetings. Departmental leaders collect report forms from elders in charge or the church clerk. All church members are requested to attend business as we shall have Roll Call and Church membership audit tomorrow.
4. Next week we shall have Holy Communion on the 22nd June 2013.
5. Today is the Second and final reading of Brother Abel Chibanga who wishes to transfer his name from Capital SDA Church to Hellen Kaunda SDA Church.
6. There will be child dedication on the 6th July 2013. All parents wishing to have their children dedicated to register with the Sabbath School department.
7. The 2013 Camp Meeting schedule shall be as follows; Avondale and Lusaka East Mission Districts shall camp in the second group from 18 – 24th August at Muluse. Theme: We are His disciples. Text John 8: 31 – 32. Theme Song: I will follow thee. SDA Hymnal # 623; Local # 11. Main Speaker: Pastor Clement Imolo, 2nd Speaker Pastor David Kayaya, 3rd Speaker: Evangelist Teddy Milambo. Please prepare to attend. Members are reminded to meet their camp meeting goals.
8. To all District Heads of Departments. All Sabbath meetings will not be allowed as they disturb the worship services. Therefore you are being advised to make alternative meeting days.
9. There will be Master Guide day on 22/06/13 in all churches. Preachers have been assigned.
10. The month of June has been declared as a month of stewardship. Churches are therefore being asked to ensure that all the programs that are conducted on the Sabbath involve stewardship. At the end of the month a report will be required from each church.
11. All those who haven’t paid their fees towards music camp meeting should do so by today 15th June 2013 which is the deadline. Please ensure that you have paid by today to secure your going.
12. There will be a Dorcas council tomorrow Sunday 16/06/2013 at Libala SDA Church starting at 08:00hours. All Dorcas workers should attend.
13. The Pastor’s appreciation program will take place next Sabbath 22nd June 2013 at Mtendere Main SDA Church. The Lusaka Conference Ministerial Director (Pastor Silas Chabala) will be available to conduct the program. All Churches are requested to send representatives with their gifts and all members are free to attend.
14. There will be a Zone Camp meeting Council tomorrow Sunday 16th June 2013, at Muluse Campsite starting at 08:30hours. All Camp meeting subcommittee members, District camp meeting leaders and Elders to attend without fail.
15. There will be a Lay preacher’s convention from 28th June to 1st July at Chilongolo. Participants must carry with them the following items; beddings, cups, plates and good sermons. Participation fee is K70.00 ZKR and to be paid at the conference offices.
16. The Sabbath School and Personal Ministries evaluation will take place on the 30th of June, 2013. All evaluation papers to be in the Office of the Director by 20th June 2013.
17. There will be an AMO rally at Muluse starting from 23rd to 29th June . all AMO members to attend.
18. The Zone 1 Dorcas rally shall take place from the 30th June to 7th July 2013 at Chalimbana. All Dorcas members are urged to attend.
