Sabbath 27th July Announcements
1. Elder Cephas Moonga is not with us this Sabbath. He has left for Sudan for work.
2. Today 27th July 2013 is Building Promotion day. We have Glad Tidings singing group from Kanyama and a visiting preacher accompanied by Elder Solochi.
3. Next Sabbath 3rd August 2013, will be Camp meeting Day.
4. We will have an adhoc business meeting next Sabbath immediately after main service.
5. Camp meeting Committee members are requested to remain behind after main service.
6. All those who will be camp meeting should start registering with the camp meeting committee. Camp meeting will take place from the 18-24th August 2013 at Muluse.
7. The following departments should take note of the elders in charge following revised changes in reporting: VOP and Interest Coordinator are under Elder Cacius Mubita, Communications will be reporting to Elder Tembo while Campmeeting falls under Elder Kateule
8. All members who were recently baptized should and have no Bibles should register with Elder Bbilika, Interest Coordinator. Kindly submit your phone numbers as well.
9. There will be A.Y hiking in Palabana on Sunday 28/07/13 from 08:00hrs. All participants to pay K30 each.
10. There will be a revival prayer meeting for A.Y leaders on 03/08/13 at Kitana school at 08:00hrs
11. The Literature Evangelism Training which began last Sunday at Mtendere Main Church will continue tomorrow Sunday 28/07/2013 from 09hrs to 16hrs. Participants to come with own packed lunch.
12. The District crusade which started on the 7th July at Kalingalinga Primary School Grounds comes to an end today Sabbath 27th with baptism at Kalingalinga Church at 13:00hrs. All Churches that have candidates for baptism to ensure that their candidates are at the above mentioned site by the above stated time with an Elder and a Church Clerk. Note: All Kalingalinga and Mass Media Church members will worship at the crusade site and all members are welcome as the afternoon shall be graced with music in celebrating the fruits of the crusade.
13. The Muluse Zone Camp meeting Council meeting will take place on Sunday the 28th July 2013 at Muluse camp site starting at 08:00hrs. All Admin and Elders in charge, District Camp meeting Chairpersons and Zone camp meeting subcommittee council members to attend without fail.
14. All Churches with the exception of Kalingalinga and Mass Media are expected to be concluding the children’s week of prayer with a children’s day today. May I once more ask the Elders to submit the names of the speakers to the Secretariat and a report on the activities that took place.
15. LEMD Churches are requested to send updated church membership to the district communication department via our email address communication.lusakaeastdistrict.lusaka@live.com for the update of the district website on the home page. Your quick response will be highly appreciated
