Sabbath 7th September 2013 Announcements
1. The family Life Week of Prayer ends Today. We are all invited to turn up in the afternoon for the final programme on Family Life.
2. Tomorrow we will have Church Board and Business Meeting. Departmental heads who have not yet submitted their reports are urged to hand over their reports to Elders in charge.
3. Next Week will be Health Day
4. There will be a Lay preachers’ meeting tomorrow Sunday 08/09/13 at Libala starting 09 hours. All Lay preachers to attend and carry packed lunch.
5. The following organisations will be coming to Lusaka East at Mtendere Main SDA Church next Wednesday 11th of September 2013 from 08 - 17 hrs. to conduct free services to our District and the general public. (a) Lands Tribunal, (b) CCPC, (c) Human Rights Commission (d) National Legal Aid Clinic for Women. The services will include Lands Tribunal issues, human rights issues, women related issues and many more. Please take advantage of this day and get the free services. Remember its open to everyone.
6. All crusade committee members (from Mt East, Chitukuko, V/View and Mt Olive) for the upcoming September Conference crusade to meet at Kitana Private School today Sabbath 7/09/13 at 14:00hrs. Please observe time.

These books above are costing K130.00 in all. Every church, company and branch must have a set of all these books for effective witnessing. Please each church, company and branch must send paid up orders to the Lusaka Conference Personal Ministries Secretary Sr. Mervis Shanyinde, or may pay directly to her office. All Elders and Company Leaders and members at large must buy their own personal copies.
8. Elders make an emphasis on this announcement. This serves to inform and remind you that the 2nd SID Pathfinder Camporee will be held in Livingstone from 13 – 19th April, 2014 at LBES College. It will be a historical event with an anticipated attendance of 6000 delegates (Pathfinders and Leaders). All the Leaders and Pathfinders should begin now to plan to attend without fail. Be advised that our young people in Zambia do not need to pay in US Dollars but kwacha. The fixed registration fee is K435.00. Please take note of the details that were attached to last week’s announcements; and the deadlines specified. For those wishing to have their registration deducted from the office, kindly pass through our Departmental office and log into the 2014 SID Camporee registration fee deduction authorization sheet.
