Sabbath 14th September 2013 Announcements
1. Today is Health Day. Health Matters concern our Spirituality. We are all encouraged to support the programme throughout the Sabbath.
2. The pathfinder week of prayer scheduled to start from tomorrow 15th to 21st September 2013 will not take place. However we shall have a pathfinder day next Sabbath 21st September 2013. All pathfinders and youth choirs will swap on this day. Helen Kaunda will swap with Mtendere South. Meaning our youth choir will be at Mtendere South while Hellen Kaunda will hoist Mtendere South Youth Choir. Pathfinders are urged to prepare adequately for this visit.
3. We shall have an Adhoc business meeting immediately after main service. The agenda is the presentation of the Camp Meeting Report. All members to remain behind for the meeting.
4. All Building Committee members are requested to remain after the Adhoc Business Meeting.
5. Elder Moonga will not be with us today and next Sabbath. He has travelled to Italy, Turin for work.
6. The Treasurer would like to remind Church officers that money received for purchases of church items should be retired with receipts within a week after receiving the money. Therefore all those that have received cash from the treasurer and not retired should take note and do accordingly.
7. The District Departmental councils will be held at Mtendere Main Church on Wednesday 18th September 2013 at 17:00hrs, while the CPC and District Council will be on Sunday 22nd September at the same venue.
8. Elders please make further emphasis on this announcement. The Conference has received the following materials for Sabbath School and Personal Ministries from SID.

These books above are costing K130.00 in all. Every church, company and branch must have a set of all these books for effective witnessing. Please each church, company and branch must send paid up orders to the Lusaka Conference Personal Ministries Secretary Sr Mervis Shanyinde, or may pay directly to her office. All Elders and Company Leaders and members at large must buy their own personal copies.
9. This serves to inform and remind you that the 2nd SID Pathfinder Camporee will be held in Livingstone from 13 – 19th April, 2014 at LBES College. It will be a historical event with an anticipated attendance of 6000 delegates (Pathfinders and Leaders). All the Leaders and Pathfinders should begin now to plan to attend without fail. Be advised that our young people in Zambia do not need to pay in US Dollars but kwacha. The fixed registration fee is K435.00. Please take note of the details that were attached to last week’s announcements; and the deadlines specified. For those wishing to have their registration deducted from the office, kindly pass through our Departmental office and log into the 2014 SID Camporee registration fee deduction authorization sheet.
10. The Youth Executive will be visiting Kalingalinga and Mass Media on Sunday 15th September 2013 at 14:00hrs.
11. There will be an end of year youth camp from 22nd - 29th December 2013 to be held in Livingstone. Churches are urged to promote this event and at least sponsor 2 youths. Please refer to the attached form for information on registration and other fees.
12. The Lusaka Conference sponsored crusade to be hosted by Chitukuko church with its company Valley View and Mtendere East church with its company Mount Olives begins tomorrow Sunday 15th September to 5th of October 2013. Venue is Ibex Hill Community school grounds. Speakers are Dr Edwin Shimunzhila (Lusaka Conference President), Pastor Goliath Naini (Lusaka Conference Executive Secretary) and Elder Isaac Kaputo (Lusaka Conference Financial Controller). Theme: BIBLE SPEAKS. All the Churches are asked to attend and support this evangelist program. Remember one member one soul.
13. All crusade committee members for the above mentioned crusade to meet today Sabbath 14th September 2013 at Kitana Private school at 14:00hrs.
