Sabbath 28th September 2013 Announcements
1. Today we have Holy Communion as we have been announcing two weeks ago. We are all invited to participate.
2. Today is also Building Promotion Day. Building Committee will take up the day in the afternoon. Kindly submit your contribution to your group leader.
3. The Adventurers Day which was supposed to take place next week has been postponed to the 19th October 2013.
4. Next Week, the 5th October, 2013 there will be baptism at Mtendere Main Church. All those wishing to get baptized to register with the Baptism Class.
5. All baptized candidates who do not have Bibles to register with Elder Bbilika. Submit your phone numbers as well.
6. Today is the last day to receive payments for the New Dawn Magazines that are being sold by Elder Bbilika. If you haven’t paid please make your payments as the money is wanted by the Pastor today.
7. Elder Bernard Tembo is not with us today. He has travelled to Kabwe for work.
8. There will an AY outing to Mundawanga on the 20th October. Fees will be announced later.
9. The church would like to thank our mothers from Hellen Kaunda SDA Church for the good cooking job they did last Sunday during the CPC and District Council meetings at Mtendere. Keep it up.

11. There will be Zone One Dorcas Elections on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at Libala SDA Church from 09:00hrs to 12:00hrs. These elections will divide the big Zone One into two – Zone One A and Zone One B. All Dorcas society members should attend without fail.
12. All Lusaka East Mission singing groups should begin to prepare for the inter district Music rotation with Kanyama Mission on the 2nd of November 2013. Remember you are also expected to go with your own speakers.
13. There will be a Youth Music fellowship on Sunday 13th October 2013 at Mtendere Main Church starting from 08:00hrs to 16:30hrs. All Youth choirs to come without fail. The participation fee is K 100.00 per choir and to be paid by 12th October 2013.
14. The Adventurers day which was scheduled to take place on 5th October 2013 has been moved to Sabbath 19th October 2013. All Adventurer Directors are therefore advised to commence preparations.
15. There will be an Adventurers fun day on Sunday 20th October 2013 at Dream Valley from 08:00hrs to 16:00hrs. Charges are K35.00 per participant and all to carry packed lunch.
16. There will be a Pathfinder council tomorrow Sunday 29/09/13 at Mtendere South Church starting at 09:00hrs. All Pathfinder Directors from local churches to attend in uniform.
17. The Pastor’s office is urging all Churches to be conducting vespers on Wednesday in homes and Friday at church.
18. There will be an end of year youth camp from 22nd - 29th December 2013 to be held in Livingstone. Churches are urged to promote this event and at least sponsor 2 youths. Participation fee is K320.00 which includes transport, food, accommodation and registration.
19. The Lusaka Conference sponsored crusade which is being hosted by Chitukuko church with its company Valley View and Mtendere East church with its company Mount Olives (venue: Ibex Hill Community Grounds) will tomorrow Sunday 29/09/13 enter the 3rd and final week ending with baptism at Mtendere Main Church on Sabbath 5/10/2013. Churches that have candidates for baptism please prepare them before the above mentioned date. Speakers are Dr Edwin Shimunzhila (Lusaka Conference President), Pastor Goliath Naini (Lusaka Conference Executive Secretary) and Elder Isaac Kaputo (Lusaka Conference Chief Financial Officer). Theme: BIBLE SPEAKS. All the Churches are asked to attend and support this evangelist program. Remember to bring one member as the divisional theme reads “One Member One Soul”.
