Sabbath 19th October 2013 Announcements
1. Today Sabbath 19th October 2013 is Adventurers day in all Churches. Parents are urged to support the programme.
2. Next week will be Ambassadors’ Day.
3. All newly baptized candidates who did not receive certificates or Bibles to see Elder Moonga.
4. All District Heads of Departments to submit their 2014 Draft Time managements and budgets to either Elder A Makasalo, Elder P Sililo or Elder A.C Ntomba before 5th November 2014.
5. This is to remind all Church Treasurers to submit the bank deposit slips to the District Treasurer whenever you deposit money in the District Account so that you obtain a receipt. Further ensure that you submit your weekly yellow sheets in time.
6. There will be an AMO outing to Kalimba Farm on 24th November 2013. Each participant to pay K60.00. All AMO members are urged to pay and go for socialization.
7. There will be an Adventurers fun day tomorrow Sunday 20th October 2013 at Dream Valley from 08:00hrs to 16:00hrs. Charges are K35.00 per participant and all to carry packed lunch. The meeting place for departure will Mtendere Main at 08:00hrs. NOTE all Pathfinders are welcome.
8. All Church members are urged to attend the LEMD Grand Music Reunion which will be held this coming Thursday 24th October 2013 at Mtendere Main Church. Let us celebrate our independence by praising our God in Hymns and Psalms.
9. There will be a Pathfinder Camporee which will be held in Livingstone from 13 – 19th April, 2014 at LBES College. It will be a historical event with an anticipated attendance of 6000 delegates (Pathfinders and Leaders). All the Leaders and Pathfinders should begin now to plan to attend without fail. Be advised that our young people in Zambia do not need to pay in US Dollars but kwacha. The fixed registration fee is K435.00.
10. There will be an end of year youth camp from 22nd - 29th December 2013 to be held in Livingstone. Churches are urged to promote this event and at least sponsor 2 youths. Participation fee is K320.00 which includes transport, food, accommodation and registration.
11. There will be a Women Ministries seminar on Entrepreneurship on 3rd November 2013. The Women Ministries Leader and four other members from our District should attend. The details of the participants should be submitted to Mrs Mutumba on 0978956138 at Lusaka Conference offices as soon as possible
