Sabbath 2nd November 2013 Announcements
1. Today we have inter district choir rotations. The Joy Bells Choir has gone to Los Angeles Church and Our youth Choir has gone to Jordan Church in Kanyama district. This is a return programme. We will also be receiving the visiting choir in due course.
2. The Annual Week of Sacrifice starts in all Churches starting tomorrow Sunday 3rd November 2013. The names of the speakers will be communicated.
3. Dorcas would like to thank all those that contributed in kind for the donation to My Father’s Home Ophanage. The donations were handed to last Sunday. May God Richly Bless You.
4. The Adventurers would like to thank the parents for financial and spiritual support during the Adventurers Day two weeks ago.
5. The next Building Promotion is on the 30th November, 2013. We are urged to prepare for the promotion.
6. All District Heads of Departments to submit their 2014 Draft Time managements and budgets to either Elder A. Makasalo, Elder P Sililo or Elder A.C Ntomba before 5th November 2013.
7. The dead line for Camp fee registration has past and therefore AY Leaders are being asked to return the Registers to the District AY Executive tomorrow Sunday at Mass Media.
8. There will be a big Pathfinder Class tomorrow Sunday at Mtendere Main from 08 to 15Hrs. All pathfinders to attend with their respective Directors.
9. There will be Free Driving lessons tomorrow Sunday at Mtendere Main at 09Hrs.
10. There will be a Children’s Ministries meeting today Sabbath 2nd November 2013 at Mtendere Main. Time 16:00hrs. To attend are all children Ministries Leaders and their Elders in charge.
11. There will be an AMO outing to Kalimba Farm on 24th November 2013. Each participant to pay K60.00. All AMO members are urged to pay and go for socialization.
12. There will be Literature Evangelism training at NRDC Church. This training will only be conducted on Sundays beginning on the 10th of November to 24th November 2013 starting at 08:00hrs.
13. Pathfinder Camporee will be held in Livingstone from 13 – 19th April, 2014 at LBES College. It will be a historical event with an anticipated attendance of 6000 delegates (Pathfinders and Leaders). All the Leaders and Pathfinders should begin now to plan to attend without fail. Be advised that our young people in Zambia do not need to pay in US Dollars but kwacha. The fixed registration fee is K435.00. Please take note of the details that were attached to last week’s announcements; and the deadlines specified. For those wishing to have their registration deducted from the office, kindly pass through our Departmental office and log into the 2014 SID Camporee registration fee deduction authorization sheet.
14. There will be an end of year youth camp from 22nd - 29th December 2013 to be held in Livingstone. Churches are urged to promote this event and at least sponsor 2 youths. Participation fee is K320.00 which includes transport, food, accommodation and registration.
15. There will be a Women Ministries seminar on Entrepreneurship on 3rd November 2013. The Women Ministries Leader and four other members from our District should attend. The details of the participants should be submitted to Mrs. Mutumba on 0978956138 at Lusaka Conference offices as soon as possible
16. All Churches to submit the names of the Children Ministries Leaders and the District Children ministries Leader should help identify 5 other members who will attend the children camp meeting to be held in December 2013. These names should be submitted to Mrs. Mutumba. In your submission include also the sum of K150.00 for registration and insurance purposes.
