Sabbath 4th January 2014 Announcements
1. Today is the last reading of the marriage band between Br. Masiye Caleb Simakando of Kabwata SDA Church and Sr. Sarafina Mwenda of Hellen Kaunda SDA Church. The two will be joined in Holy matrimony tomorrow, Sunday 5th January, 2014 by Pastor Chisala.
2. Today we’ll have a Bible Study/Seminar on Church organization. We are all invited to turn up in the afternoon and support the programme. All those in leadership positions are encouraged to attend.
3. We’ll have an adhoc board meeting in Room 4 today immediately after main service. All board members are invited to attend.
4. Next week, we will have an Adhoc Business Meeting after main service.
5. Departmental leaders are reminded to submit their 2014 activities for time management. All activities should be budgeted for and submitted to the Elders in charge.
6. The Church would like to welcome back the Senior Youth who attended the end of year camp in Livingstone and came back on the 29th December, 2013.
7. Elder Kateule is not with us today. He has been invited for building promotion at Mount Olives Company.
8. All baptised members of the Church must have a good Bible, Hymn book and a study guide.
9. This serves to remind all Church members to be attending vespers in their areas of residence on Wednesdays and at Church every Friday evening. Personal Ministries Leaders and Elders in charge should ensure the revamping of these vespers in all sections that had stopped.
10. There will be a Lusaka Conference Youth Leadership seminar from 24 – 26th January 2014. Local Churches are to pay K360.00 for local Church club Directors. The deadline for payment is 20/01/14
11. The Lusaka Conferencce President will be launching the year of evangelism today 4th January 2014 at Libala Church starting at 14:00hrs. To attend are all admin Elders, Suprintendents and Personal Ministries Leaders.
12. The Zambia Union Conference Festival of the laity will be held next year, June 24 - 28, 2014. The venue is Mulungushi International Conference Centre. Details are as follows; Registration fee is K1000 (includes lunch and dinner for 4days) As for breakfast delegates will be feeding from their respective lodging places. For the delegates who will not need lunch and dinner will be required to pay K600.00 as their registration fee. The deadline for registration fee payment is 28 February' 2014.

10. There will SID AMO rally in Zimbabwe (Solusi) from April 1 - 5, 2014. Payments are as follows
- Registration = US dollar 55 per person
- Accommodation = US dollar 22
- Meals = US dollar 6 per meal (3meals a day ×6 =18×5days = 90 US dollars
The deadline for payment of registration fee is 28th January 28th 2014.
11. The ZBUC school of Evangelism will take place from February 24 - March 2 2014 at Andrews motel in Lusaka. payments are as follows
- Registration fee : K100
- Accommodation: K950.00 sharing for the whole week and single occupancy (one person in a room) is K250 per night.
- Meals K1,300.00
The deadline for the registration fee is January 20, 2014.
Please note that those who may wish to look for their own accommodation can do so but they should let us know'
12. There will be an SID Children's ministries Leaders Convention from 12 - 15 March,2014 at Birchwood Hotel in Johannesberg, South Africa. Registration fee is R3 000 (K1 800) for full board (hotel conference & meals) and R2,000 (1,150) for conference and meals only. Transport to and from Johannsberg is at the participant's expense. Deadline for registration is 31January, 2014. Those who will register after January 31 will be required to pay (late registration which is R4, 000. Those required to attend are;

(ii)Children's Sabbath school Leaders
(iii) Sabbath School Leaders
(iv) Pathfinder Leaders
(v) Adventurer Leaders
(vi) Family Life Leaders
