Sabbath 25th January 2014 Announcements
1. Today is Religious Liberty promotion Day in all churches.
2. The Stewardship month of emphasis begins next Sabbath. Speakers will be communicated from the district in the course of the week.
3. Elder Mubita is not with us today. He has been assigned to promote Religious Liberty at Mtendere Main Church.
4. Elder Mulendele and Elder Bbilika have also been assigned to promote Religious Liberty at Mass Media.
5. Elders in charge this week will be Elder Mubanga Kateule and Elder Kasakula.
6. The following singing groups were selected to sing at the forth coming Impact Lusaka with Christ crusade (I) Beaulah Land of Mtendere Main (ii) Joy Bells of Hellen Kaunda and (iii) King's Royal Cords of Kalingalinga.
7. There will be a Lusaka Conference Inter departmental seminar for all departments in the Church with the exception of Audit, Stewardship and Treasury. Dates today Sabbath 25/01/14 at 14:00hrs and tomorrow Sunday 26/01/14 beginning at 08:00hrs to 16:00hrs. venue is Chainama SDA Church. For tomorrow please carry packed lunch.
8. The Lusaka Conference Youth Leadership seminar began yesterday Friday the 24th – Sunday 26th January 2014 at Kyindu primary school in Palabana.
9. The District Executive has tentatively set Sunday 2nd of February for a CPC and District Council to approve the 2014 time management and budget.
10. The Pathfinder Camporee will be held in Livingstone from 13 – 19th April, 2014 at LBES College. It will be a historical event with an anticipated attendance of 6000 delegates (Pathfinders and Leaders). The District Executive would like to hear from the churches the preparation made so far for our Pathfinders to attend this grand event.
11. The ZBUC school of Evangelism will take place from February 24 - March 2 2014 at Andrews motel in Lusaka. payments are as follows
- Registration fee : K100
- Accommodation: K950.00 sharing for the whole week and single occupancy (one person in a room) is K250 per night.
- Meals K1,300.00
The deadline for the registration fee is January 20, 2014.
Please note that those who may wish to look for their own accommodation can do so but they should let us know'
12. There will be an SID Children's ministries Leaders Convention from 12 - 15 March,2014 at Birchood Hotel in Johannesberg, South Africa. Registration fee is R3 000 (K1 800) for full board (hotel conference & meals) and R2,000 (1,150) for conference and meals only. Transport to and from Johannsberg is at the participant's expense. Deadline for registration is 31January, 2014. Those who will register after January 31 will be required to pay (late registration which is R4, 000. Those required to attend are;

(ii)Children's Sabbath school Leaders
(iii) Sabbath School Leaders
(iv) Pathfinder Leaders
(v) Adventurer Leaders
(vi) Family Life Leaders
