1. Sr Mubita’s aunty passed away on monday at Levy Mwanawasa hospital and burial took place on Wednesday.

1. Today is the second/last reading of Brother John Chulu who wishes to transfer his name from Chainama SDA Church to Hellen Kaunda Church (Vote).
2. The Board of Elders meetings are on Thursday at the plot. All departmental recommendations should be communicated to the Elders in charge before Thursday.
3. There will be cleaning works at the church plot tomorrow. All members are requested to turn up with slashers, wheel barrows, shovels.
4. Family Life week of prayer starts today Sabbath evening 8th February 2014 and
Preachers have been sent to Churches as follows:

Please note that the week of prayer will end on Sabbath as a combined programme with Stewardship. Preachers (Stewardship and Family Life) to rehearse for Sabbath February 14, programme.
5. All Churches to prepare monthly Evangelism reports and report how they are using their Sabbath school action units and submit by the 30th of every month to the Pastors Office.
3. The Pathfinder Camporee will be held in Lvingstone from 13 – 19th April, 2014 at LBES College. It will be a historical event with an anticipated attendance of 6000 delegates (Pathfinders and Leaders). The District Executive would like to hear from the churches the preparation made so far for our Pathfinders to attend this grand event.
5. There will be SID AMO rally in Zimbabwe (Solusi) from April 1 - 5, 2014. Payments are as follows
- Registration = US dollar 55 per person
- Accommodation = US dollar 22
- Meals = US dollar 6 per meal (3meals a day ×6 =18×5days = 90 US dollars
The deadline for payment of registration fee is 28th February 2014.
6.There will be an SID Children's Ministries Leaders Convention from 12 - 15 March,2014 at Birchood Hotel in Johannesburg, South Africa. Registration fee is R3 000 (K1 800) for full board (hotel conference & meals) and R2,000 (1,150) for conference and meals only. Transport to and from Johannsberg is at the participant's expense. Deadline for registration is 31January, 2014. Those who will register after January 31 will be required to pay (late registration which is R4, 000. Those required to attend are;
(i) Children Ministries Leaders
(ii)Children's Sabbath school Leaders
(iii) Sabbath School Leaders
(iv) Pathfinder Leaders
(v) Adventurer Leaders
(vi) Family Life Leaders
(vii) Parents
