Sabbath 8th March 2014 Announcements
1. Today is Communications Day. We’ll have a Bible Study in the afternoon.
2. Next week will be Music promotions day.
3. The Kateules have been blessed with a new born baby girl. The baby was born on the 3rd March, 2014 in Macha, Choma. Both the mother and the baby are fine and are still in Macha.
4. Ambassadors will be visiting My Father’s orphanage on the 12th March 2014. They are appealing for money contributions from members and cloth/es donations for the visit to the orphanage.
5. Elder Moonga has travelled to Seychelles for work duties.
6. Health Expo which was supposed to take place today has been moved to April 6, 2014.
7. All those who got the latest New Dawn Magazines from Elder Bbilika and have not paid to do so as the money is wanted by the District Pastor.
8. All Church officers to collect copies of the 2014 time management and budget from Elders in Charge. The 2014 Time management and budget can also be downloaded from the church website for those who have access to the internet.
9. We’ll have the Church Board and Business Meeting on the 16th March 2014. All Departmental heads are urged to collect report forms from the Church Clerk.
10. The Great Hope Books for personal witnessing are being sold at K2.50 by the treasurer. All are invited to purchase the books particularly for 2014 Year of Evangelism where each member is expected to bring in at least one soul. Adventist Beliefs are also available on request.
11. Money for Great Hope Books to be deposited together with trust funds clearly indicating “Great Hope”
12. There will be a Lusaka Conference Music Seminar at Libala SDA Church on 12th March 2014 from 08hrs.
13. All Churches to prepare monthly Evangelism reports and report how they are using their Sabbath school action units and submit by the 30th of every month to the Pastors Office.
14. There will be Mass Baptism on March 22, 2014. All those wishing to be baptized to prepare and register with the baptism class in advance.
15. Notice is hereby given, that there will be a meeting today 8th March, 2014 at Mtendere South SDA Church at 17:00hrs. items to be discussed are (a) The work of the Communications department in the District (b) Newsletter for this Quarter (c) Albums for the District (photographic) (4) Any other business. Communications dept in all churches to attend.
16. All Churches to send a list of all preachers in their churches with their cell numbers today Sabbath to either Eld P. Sililo of Hellen Kaunda (Dist PM) or Eld. Muvwanga (Dist PM Ass) of Kalingalinga or Sr. Sona (Dist. PM Sec) of Chitukuko SDA Churches respectively.
17. All Churches to prepare monthly Evangelism reports and report how they are using their Sabbath school action units and submit by the 30th of every month to the Pastors Office.
18. This serves to remind all Church Clerks and Admin Elders that the Conference Secretariat provided all the Churches with the software for uploading the new Church Membership System (CMS) during the interdepartmental seminars early this year at Chainama. By the end of this quarter all churches will be expected to report on the progress of uploading names to this system.
