4. We will have an Adhoc Business Meeting immediately after main service. All Church members to remain.
5. All the Youths who volunteered to participate in the AY crusade to begin tomorrow 1st June 2014, in Rufunsa District are requested to meet today at Chitukuko SDA Church at 14hours and arrange for departure tomorrow.
6. There will be a conference youth council tomorrow, Sunday 1st June 2014 at Lusaka Central Church at 09:00hrs. All to wear AY uniforms with short sleeved shirts. Agenda shall be; reports and upcoming events.
7. There will be a district music workshop for all youth choirs at Chitukuko SDA Church, tomorrow Sunday 1/06/14 starting at 8:00hrs – 16:00hrs. All to be in uniform and carry packed lunch.
8. There will be a Lusaka conference Youth congress at Silverest School starting on 27th June – 1st July, 2014. Registration fee is K100 and deadline closes on 20th of June. Please contact the district Youth Secretariat for more details.
9. There will be a Pathfinder hiking on 22nd June 2014 in Palabana and a Master Guide retreat from Friday 11th – 13th July, 2014. All master guides and pathfinders are advised to see their respective leaders for fees and more details.
10. There will also be a pathfinder camp fire at Riverside in Kafue on Saturday 5th July, 2014. Participation fee is K40 per person.
11. There will also be Adventurer and pathfinder progressive exams at Mtendere Main on Thursday, 3rd July and honor exams on Sunday, 13th July, 2014. Please prepare in advance.
12. There will be a teachers convention in Livingstone from 12th – 16th August 2014. As such all Adventist teachers in Lusaka Conference are called to attend an important meeting at Libala Church on the 1st of June starting at 09:00hrs – 13:00hr
13. The conference still has a few remaining History of Redemption books at K100 and those interested should get in touch with their Local Leaders.
14. There will be a Lusaka Conference Lay Preachers Seminar for beginners/Intermediate and Senior Lay Preachers at Chilongolo from 4th – 12th July 2014. The fees are K95.00 for transport and feeding. Please begin paying through your Church Treasurer and also directly through the Conference. All are invited to attend.
15. There will be year of Evangelism Evaluation at Kabwata Church from 09:00hrs – 13:00hrs on the 1st of June, 2014. All District Evangelism Leaders, Church Sabbath School Superintendents and Personal Ministry Leaders and Elders in charge to attend

1. We would like to welcome the nine (9) new members of our church that got baptized last Sabbath at mtendere main church.
2. Today Sabbath 24th May 2014 is Local Music Day programme. We shall have music throughout the day.
3. Tomorrow 25th May 2014, the Youths will be going for hiking in Lufutuko area.
4. There will be a local music workshop for all musicians at dream valley on Monday 26th May 2014. All musicians to attend. For details see the music director.
5. Next Sabbath 31st May 2014 will be Spirit of Prophecy day.
6. There will be a Church/Company Clerk briefing by LC Executive Secretary Pastor G. Naini tomorrow Sunday 25th May 2014 at Mtendere Main Church starting 09:00hrs - 09:30hrs. All Church and Company Clerks to attend without fail. Let them come along with filled in Get Counted Registration Forms. These forms have already been provided to Church Clerks and they should ensure that all Church members should fill them in today if they haven’t yet.

16. There will be a meeting for all women and Children Ministries Directors from all local congregations to be addressed by the Director from the Conference at Mtendere Main Church tomorrow Sunday 25th May 2014 starting at 09:00hrs – 13:00hrs.

4.The Pathfinder Camporee begins on Sunday 13th – 19th April, 2014 in Livingstone at LIBES College. Note: Due to this Camporee the Pathfinder skills camp scheduled to take place on 27th April 2014 at Kyindu Primary School in Palabana has been put off.
5.There will be a Lusaka Conference Dorcas council on Sunday 13th April 2014 at Libala SDA Church starting at 08: hrs. All Dorcas workers to attend without fail.

Today Sabbath the 29/03/14 is Education promotion day and the local churches are to conduct the program under the following guidance, THEME: CHRISTIAN WITNESS, READINGS FROM ACTS 1: 8, MATTHEW 28: 19 – 20, MARK 5:19, MATTHEW 23: 14 AND 2KINGS 7: 9. THEME SONG IS 114 LOCAL. Elders should ensure that they find their own speakers for this program.
We also have Holy Communion and all are encouraged to partake.4. All Dorcas Mothers to remain after Holy Communion to discuss the forth coming rally.

1.The Youths visited My Father’s orphanage on the 12th March 2014 and they are thanking the church and members for the financial and material contributions.
2.All Church officers to collect copies of the 2014 time management and budget from Elders in Charge. The 2014 Time management and budget can also be downloaded from the church website for those who have access to the internet.
3.The Youths will have a nature study at Mundawanga on 6th April 2014. The fees are K40 and its open for all who want to participate.
4.There will be a zone camp meeting council tomorrow Sunday 16th March 2014 at Muluse starting at 09:00hrs. To attend are, all camp meeting chairpersons, company Leaders, Elders in Charge, Administrative Elders and all Zone Camp meeting council members. Please ensure that you attend this important meeting which is the first one this year and may involve elections.

By the end of this quarter all churches will be expected to report on the progress of uploading names to this system.
18. On a sad note the Pastor and his executive convey their sincere condolences to the family, Mass Media Church and the District on the death of District Assistance Family Life Leader Elder Everson Hatobela on Monday 10/03/14 and was put to rest on 12/03/14. May the Lord bless all churches and individual members who offered both moral and physical support. Let us remember to continue praying for the family.

3. The Kateules have been blessed with a new born baby girl. The baby was born on the 3rd March, 2014 in Macha, Choma. Both the mother and the baby are fine and are still in Macha.
4. Ambassadors will be visiting My Father’s orphanage on the 12th March 2014. They are appealing for money contributions from members and cloth/es donations for the visit to the orphanage.
5. Elder Moonga has travelled to Seychelles for work duties.
6. Health Expo which was supposed to take place today has been moved to April 6, 2014.
7. All those who got the latest New Dawn Magazines from Elder Bbilika and have not paid to do so as the money is wanted by the District Pastor.

The deadline for payment of registration fee is 28th February 2014.14. There will be an SID Children's Ministries Leaders Convention from 12 - 15 March, 2014 at Birchwood Hotel in Johannesburg, South Africa. Registration fee is R3 000 (K1 800) for full board (hotel conference & meals) and R2, 000 (1,150) for conference and meals only. Transport to and from Johannesburg is at the participant's expense. Deadline for registration is 31January, 2014. Those who will register after January 31 will be required to pay (late registration which is R4, 000. Those required to attend are;

1. Today is the last reading of the marriage band between Br. Masiye Caleb Simakando of Kabwata SDA Church and Sr. Sarafina Mwenda of Hellen Kaunda SDA Church. The two will be joined in Holy matrimony tomorrow, Sunday 5th January, 2014 by Pastor Chisala.

Attention Admin Elders and Church Clerks: Next Sabbath 27th July 2013 Elder Bernard Tembo (Ass Dist Secretary) will be going round all Churches to collect minutes of the Board and Business meetings from January 2013 to date. All Churches that have not submitted these minutes to make them ready by the said date.
13. The District crusade started on the 7th July and is going on up to the 28th of July 2013 at Kalingalinga primary school grounds. The theme is “Christ our only hope”, the Main Speaker is Evangelist Aswell Kalela (District Pastor) and the second Speaker is Evangelist Brian Malambo. Members are being advised to invite people and attend the crusade and be also informed that there will be a baptism on the 27th of July 2013.

The Seventh-day Adventist Church considers reporting as a serious matter and Secretariat has attached a copy of Lusaka Conference quarterly report checklist for each church to print and ensure that at the end of every quarter each Church submits all the reports where there is a tick in the checklist. All reports should be made on Lusaka Conference report forms and do not get any CZC report forms and then type and print your copy because some Lusaka Conference report forms have some difference with the former CZC. The office of the Pastor will not accept any excuse from any Church or District departmental Head for not reporting correctly.
15. The Lusaka Conference family evangelism launch takes place today Sabbath 20th July 2013 at Andrews’s motel from 08 – 16hrs. We hope each Church paid for the family life Leader and the Elder in charge to represent them.

1. 1. Sr. Thandi Sibindi (Sr. to Wise Sibindi) of Kalingalinga SDA Church passed away on 24th April. The sister was a member of the King's Royal Cords Choir. There will be body viewing today at Kalingalinga church today at 16:00hrs. Burial will be on Sunday morning in Mungule Ten Miles where the funeral is being held. May the Lord comfort the bereaved family.

- 2.Elder Sydney Kasakula’s cousin who was sick in UTH passed away on Monday 18th February 2013 and burial took place on Thursday 21st February 2013. Let’s remember the Kasakulas in prayer and visit them.
- 3.Elder Shepard Mutakwa (District Secretary) lost a cousin in marriage, travelled to Kitwe for the funeral on Thursday 21st February 2013. Burial took place yesterday.
Local Church Announcements
- 1.Today 23rd February 2013 is Building promotions day and the church aims to raise K10 million or KR10, 000. All members are urged to fulfill their goals. As a church we intend to shift to the plot by April 2013 and so this money will be used in the acquisition of a big tent which will be temporal shelter for worshipping.
- 2.The church service for the wedding of Deacon Chewe Simungala and Sr Janet Musonda will start at 08:30hrs at Mtendere Main SDA Church tomorrow 24th February 2013 while reception will be at the GO Center Hall at 16hrs.
- 3.Chewe’s wedding committee to meet for a briefing after bible study.
- 4.There will be an AY singles outing on Tuesday 12th March 2013 at Suwilanji Gardens. Fees to be announced.

- 1. Today is the Third and final reading of the banns of marriage between Evans Simungala and Janet Musonda. The two will be joined in holy matrimony on the 24th February 2013.

- The Shepandes are thanking Hellen Kaunda SDA Church for the spiritual and moral support rendered to the family during the funeral of the late sister Annie Matotoba Shepande who passed away on the 25th December 2012 and was put to rest on the 28th December 2012. The message was published in The Post newspaper dated 28th and 29th January 2013.
